Malagousia
Edanos is a family winery, founded in1975 by George Ligdopoulos in eastern Aegialia, in the village of Kalamias. It is
now run by the second generation of the family, who stepped forward to the production of high-quality bottled wines. The grapes are sourced by winery-owned vineyards (8 ha in total) and also by few more associated local grape-growers. Mostly indigenous varietals are cultivated among few international, in the slopes of mountainous Aegialia, located at an altitude of 300 up to 850 meters.

The vineyards of our winery are planted in Kalamias of Aegialia. A village with a long wine-making tradition and continuity, in the unique beauty and world-renowned wine-growing zone of Aegialia.
Our red varieties are cultivated in poor clay-gravel soils at lower altitudes, while our white varieties are grown in limestone soils at high altitudes in one of the top vineyards of Aegialia, Kourkoulias.
