A very interesting ribolla gialla that shows yellow apples, Asian pears, toffee-banana pie and gooseberry fool. Full-bodied and quite phenolic with plenty of dried-fruit flavors. Acidity holds this together and keeps it fresh on the finish. Made from an infusion of fully mature grapes in already fermented grape juice. – J.S.
