Good full ruby. Musky aromas of blueberry, black cherry, cocoa and violet. Intensely flavored, fine-grained and serious, with a luscious texture to the spicy plum, dark berry and gentle floral flavors. Spreads out beautifully at the back, finishing smooth and very long, with ripe tannins. This knockout second wine is made from L’Evangile’s youngest vines; only about 10,000 bottles are produced.
