The NV Trento Metodo Classico Brut is a fabulous base wine from Italy’s celebrated Ferrari winery located just outside the city of Trento. This is a luminous sparkler made with the Chardonnay grape. It presents a simple but elegant aromatic approach that puts emphasis on stone fruit, apricot and freshly baked bread. The bottle was disgorged in early 2017. – M.L.
