From a lieu-dit just south of Criots-Batard-Montrachet, this is a delicious rich Chassagne with a refreshing length of flavor. It melds dusty mineral notes with scents of tangerine and Mandarin orange, the fruit fleshy enough to absorb its time in oak, so the wood serves as a light, spicy frame for the fragrance of the wine itself. Decant it now or a year from now, to serve with roast fish or white meats.
