The 2011 Gattinara Tre Vigne has fruit that has been sourced from three of the estate’s most important parcels. The wine embraces the warmer temperatures of the vintage with exuberant fruit, dark cherry, plum and a tightly clean and velvety texture. This vintage offers slightly softer tannins and a robust, generous mouthfeel. The wine is ready to drink now but could easily hold for another decade without losing its freshness. – M.L.
