The 2011 Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives opens clear, fresh and concentrated on the nose, with smoky grapefruit flavors. Rich and elegant on the palate, this is a rich, sweet, elegant and finessed Gewurz with fine tannins, lingering salinity and tension. This is a great Gewurz. – S.R.
