[97–98 Pts] Stony-mineral and flinty complexity here. This delivers a very taut, very compact and composed palate with tightly bedded tannins. Really dense and intense. The precision and spicy fruits are wildly compelling. Elegant with power here again! Sexy, pure syrah, matured in 100 per cent barriques, from a small 0.4-ha plot, planted in 1991. – J.S.
