This has succulent, energetic and appealing red fruit with dark chocolate and a fresh, lithe and juicy feel. The palate has tension, laced through energetic fruit. Savory, stony and spicy notes. The schist has a strong influence here, giving this wine strong bones. Pure syrah from younger vines in the middle of the slope. – J.S.
