Super fragrant black stones and black pepper with a very, very spicy array of black fruit and hints of mocha (from 100 per cent new barriques). This has a super powerful core of tannin, built from the inside out. The small-berry power here is compelling – old vines favor skin over juice – giving intense black fruit and a schist spark at the finish. Really pops! Pure, complete and wildly powerful.
