The blend version of the 2009 Lindaflor mixes Malbec and Syrah grapes (80/20) that are fermented together in French oak barrels where the wine matured for 16-22 month. There is a note of varnished wood with ripe black fruit, plums and damsons and plenty of vanilla, cinnamon and smoke with a touch of chocolate. The palate is full-bodied with plenty of tannins… a powerful blend with 15.5% alcohol, lowish acidity and some residual sugar. – L.G.
