Showing a ripe and richly extracted personality, the 2014 Menfi Syrah Maroccoli is redolent of blackberry confit, spice, tobacco and barbecue smoke… A full-bodied wine, although the mouthfeel proves to be more streamlined and finessed than initially expected. – M.L.
