Complex aromas of melon, pear, peach and yellow flowers, with slow-building spiciness. Dry and incisive on the palate, offering energetic strawberry, orange zest and earthy flavors. Shows impressive focus on the long, earthy and distinctly dry finish. This struck me as a little coarse at the back end but I often find this in Blanc de Noirs, so it may just be me. 100% Pinot Nero. – I.D.
