…The bouquet is a bit smokey and savory with wild berry and mild primary fruit intensity. Pressed rose, cola and campfire ash rise from the bouquet. The tannins are polished and fine (like a Pinot Nero) and the wine shows a level of finesse and light-footedness that you don’t usually see in Serralunga d’Alba wines. – M.L.
