Complex aromas of ripe cherries, black truffles and dried flowers, such as lavender and rose petals. Full-bodied, tight and solid with chewy tannins, yet it’s polished and refined. Undertones of porcini mushrooms and walnut rind. Energetic and focused. Drinkable now, but better in 2022. – J.S.
