Smoke, graphite and ripest cherry unite on the rich nose. The palate then adds even richer notes of baked plum and cinnamon within a web of still drying but essentially smooth, almost velvety tannins to provide a rather rich, even baroque picture of Sankt Laurent.. —A.K.
