We are a small, family owned and operated winery that produces varietal wines of distinction from our Rutherford estate, including Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Very limited and small quantities and are all estate grown off our 66-acre property on the Rutherford Bench.
French clones are used. We inhibi malolactic fermentation. 10 months of barrel fermentation in double size barriques with only 30% new oak. Barrel fermentation adds texture and volume.
A delicately concentrated elixir of generously ripe yellow citrus and peak apricot nestled in light meringue drizzled with liquefied butterscotch spiced by faint hints of ginger, nutmeg and fractured vanilla bean pod. This vibrant wine glides across the palate in a near perfect balance, at once both rich and lean, that persists with an invitingly long finish of ephemeral delight.
