Infiné 1939 is a collaboration between Mark Taub, the CEO of importing company Palm Bay International, and Italian winemaker Carlo Ferrini. Sourced from high elevation vineyards in the foothills of the Dolomitic Alps near Lake Garda, it’s based on chardonnay and sauvignon blanc blended with smaller amounts of gewürztraminer and riesling. Heady with scents of clove, rose petal and litchi, it has a honeyed richness and notes of ginger, tarragon and cured meat. It’s a bold, spicy wine that would complement roasted pork or spicy Thai noodles. —S.J.
