The 2014 Blason de L’Évangile is soft, juicy and giving, which is to say, everything a second wine should be. Plum, blackberry jam, smoke, chocolate and a dollop of new oak flesh out in an attractive, open-knit Pomerol to drink now and over the next few years. – A.G.
