Rich aromas and flavors of red cherry and blueberry plus hints of Asian spices and iron. Clean, fresh and juicy, showing lovely weight and precision, not to mention very good cut. Closes long, with lingering spice and stony notes. All estate-grown grapes from the Rodern site (well known in Alsace for good Pinot Noir grapes) and Ribeauvillé. – I.D.
