Rich, opulent and round, the 2015 Sicilia Menfi Didacus is a full-bodied Sicilian Chardonnay (made in limited numbers) that debuted last year with the 2014 vintage. The wine delivers Sicilian aromas of candied orange peel, toasted almond or pistachio, white licorice and crushed sea shell. This was a warm vintage, and that extra fiber and succulence is transmitted directly to the mouthfeel. This is an important, age-worthy white wine. – ML
