Deep ruby with inky tinges: this is amazingly dark and impenetrable for a 2010 wine. Ripe black cherry, cassis, balsamic notes, herbs and cedar on the nose. Rich and dense with mouthcoating tannins that frame the ripe red and aromatic herb flavors. Fresh, saline and rather refined on the long finish. Very interesting wine… – I.D.
