The 2012 Trento Metodo Classico Riserva Perlé Rosé Brut is a blend of 80% Pinot Nero and 20% Chardonnay aged in bottle for at least five years. The wine shows a pale pink color that is luminous and bright. The Pinot Nero fruit comes from vineyards that reach up to 700 meters in altitude. This firm-bodied sparkling wine shows an especially smooth and silky entry to the palate. – ML
